Sacred Reich was a heavy metal band that existed in the late 1980s. Singer/songwriter Phil Rind created speed metal music, intended to be socially impactful. After several records on Metal Blade - they were signed to Hollywood Records for a short stint. They later returned to Metal Blade to continue their musical career. Although the band was not commercially successful like Metallica or Megadeth, many consider their albums to be on par with the best speed metal.
