The Dickson College canteen has recently undergone some much needed refurbishment thanks to some highly innovative year 12 students. Now, instead of having to spend the many hours during recess, lunch and multiple lines off sitting on uncomfortable blue plastic chairs or leaning against the wall on the floor of the canteen, students can relax in the comfort of the newly aquired green 80s style padded chairs or, for those who are lucky enough to earn a spot, on the cuddliest piece of furniture anywhere in the southern hemishpere, Comfy McCouch. Add to this the soothing tunes of various iPods playing from the speakers on the top of the vending machine and you are left with a warm, welcoming and very unproductive atmosphere.
