The Game (or Game) is a rap artist signed to Aftermath and G-Unit Records. As the fifth member of G-Unit, which is headed by 50 Cent, The Game frequently teams up with G-Unit on underground mixtapes.

The Game is a west-coast rapper from Compton, L.A. in the US state of California, a place for best known for its notorious crimes and gang violence which have been going on for more than 3 decades.

He decided to rap while recouperating during 2001 from gunshot wounds. As he is a Blood, Crips (most likely) shot him. He made three plans: the first was to rap, the second was to become active in real estate and the third was to go back to school. He tried rapping and it paid off, as Dr. Dre found him in Compton and signed him to Aftermath records. Also, he is currently on various mixtapes released from DJ Kay Slay, DJ Whoo Kid, DJ Clue and other DJ's.

The Game's debut album - "The Documentary" is set for an official release on January 18th, 2005.
