File:Saturday Night Football logo.svg

Hello Corkythehornetfan. I am looking to clean up the file File:Saturday Night Football logo.svg. Did you obtain this file from a PDF, or did you get it directly as an SVG? If you have the original file and format available, I'd like to use that to clean up. Thanks in advance! Pbroks13 (talk) 17:19, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

@Pbroks13: I'll get back with you tomorrow. I downloaded it from a NFL media site, which you need credentials too. I'll look for it and let you know once I have it. I believe it was a SVG directly, but I don't remember. Corky 04:28, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
Do not worry if it is too much trouble. I did a bunch of manual editing, and got the file from 1.1MB down to 93KB (I feel like the changes are not too far off from the original, so we should be good). Pbroks13 (talk) 03:02, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
@Pbroks13: I located the original source... if you want it, hit the email button on the left, send me a message, and I'll send you the direct file. It's EPS with a 14.7 MB file size... I reduced it when I uploaded it, but that is all I could do... Sorry for the delay! Corky 16:58, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Image request: Dan Patrick

Hello Corkythehornetfan, would you please take a look at File:Dan Patrick Texas.jpg? Patrick's article has been the victim of at least two attempts in the past month to add inadequately-licensed images, and I don't know if this image is one of them (it looks like a promotional photo, so I'm suspicious). If there is no violation, I would appreciate it if you would crop it, so it can at least be a decent infobox photo. --1990'sguy (talk) 15:19, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

@1990'sguy: I’m not convinced the uploader is the author... the exif at the bottom shows it was taken by Lavender Marsh of the Texas Senate Media Services. Corky 15:50, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
I've gone ahead and tagged it as lacking permission. Corky 17:11, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
Thanks! --1990'sguy (talk) 19:26, 12 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi Corkythehornetfan yesterday the HHS Sec seid that Norman Sharpless will be the Acting Commissioner of Food and Drugs. Norman Sharpless Commissioner of Food and Drugs in April https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4785769/hhs-secretary-azar-announces-ned-sharpless-serve-acting-fda-commissioner Thanks:96.36.68.29 (talk) 17:50, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Removal of external links

Is there a reason for the mass removal of external links from U.S. politicians's articles? --Calton | Talk 02:00, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

Thre not needed and take up too much space. If they were needed, they’d be in the template. Corky 02:29, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

Fresno State Bulldogs colors at Module:College color/data

In reverting my good faith edits at Module:College color/data regarding the official HTML color codes for the Fresno State Bulldogs, you said "Fresno State hasn’t changed the hex codes. Athletics is separate than university and I have the art sheet to prove it." The edit diff is found here. I was wondering, since you said you "had the art sheet to prove it", if you could please provide the URL reference for the Fresno State art sheet, if at all possible? Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 03:50, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

@Charlesaaronthompson: The art sheet was emailed to me from their Trademarks/Licensing director, Clarence Chiong. Athletics uses Pantone 199 C and Pantone 2787 C as their primary red and blue, and the colors at the module came by 'Inspecting the Element' tool on the gobulldogs.com website to be more accurate. That is different than the university, and is quite noticeable when looking at their websites. Corky 04:00, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
Is there any way you could please forward via e-mail that art sheet to me? I believe you and take you at your word. I also promise not to use it at the module. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 04:09, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
