History
In 2017 Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi stated that he would "love" to do another Thor film. On twitter Mark Ruffalo joked about the possibility of him reprising his role for a potential Thor 4. Taika Waititi stated that, should he do another Thor film, it would feel more like a second Thor: Ragnorak then a fourth Thor. Waititi also said that should he do Thor 4 he would like it to open with Jeff Goldblum's character The Grandmaster performing a play reenacting the ending of Thor: Ragnarok along with his Jurassic Park co-stars. In 2019 Tessa Thompson who played Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame said that she believed a fourth Thor film was being pitched at Marvel with Taika Waititi returning to direct.

After Thor joined the Guardians of the Galaxy at the end of Avengers: Endgame it is possible that Thor will be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
