Russia Today TV, more often known as Russia Today is a global news channel from Russia that broadcasts in English and is owned by Russian news agency RIA-Novosti. It is available around the world via satellite and it hit the airwaves on December 10, 2005. The broadcast is also avaliable online from the Russia Today homepage, russiatoday.ru. (The online service Russia Today is unrelated to the TV channel and can be found at russiatoday.com.)
