Featured article candidate review: Buffy article

Hi

You maybe interested to know that the article 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' has recently been nominated as a candidate to become a featured article. Should it become a featured article, it will be possible for the article to appear on the Misplaced Pages main page on March 10th 2007, the 10th anniversary of Buffy (the premiere, "Welcome to the Hellmouth" aired March 10th 1997).

Any feedback you can offer to improve the article and/or to either object or support the nomination, would be wonderful. Thanks -- Paxomen 18:23, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

FYI, I went ahead and answered on my own talkpage, to try and keep everything together. :) --Elonka 01:54, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Mediation

Yup, I saw. I think you're doing a great job in there, keep up the good work.  :) I'll participate as I can, though I'm a bit busy with day-job things. Unfortunately I feel that this puts me at a disadvantage with the many editors who seem to have nothing else to do but monitor Misplaced Pages, but, I'll do what I can.  :) --Elonka 23:03, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

In Universe, Lost

Thank you very much for your comment on "In Universe" on the "Lost WikiProject". I very much like being a member of the Project, and my fellow contributors are great people. However, sometimes advice can be vague and your comment was a real breath of fresh air. Thank you my friend. codu (/) 23:05, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Well keep up the good words brother. You're doing an excellent job! You take a good neutral view and I respect that. codu (/) 00:01, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Replied

Hi. When I get comments on my page I'm never sure whether to reply there or on the commenter's page. This time I replied on mine. It's an etiquette minefield, I swear...--Nalvage 22:55, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Moral support

You have mine.  :) BTW, do you have any preferred off-wiki communication methods? --Elonka 22:57, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I'll email you my email address :) Riverbend 23:04, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you!

Riverbend, thank you for your nice note and for all your help with the discussion! --Toby Rush ‹ | › 21:00, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

ArbCom proceeding

Hiya, hope your holidays are going well.  :) If you would like to watch the ArbCom proceedings, you may wish to set Misplaced Pages:Requests for arbitration/Naming Conventions on your watchlist. Your own name is mentioned a few places at the evidence page, and possibly at the workshop page. The case is currently in an "evidence-gathering" phase and has not yet reached the state of actual comment by arbitrators yet. My guess is it'll probably run for another month or so before a decision is finalized.

No action is needed on your part, but if you would like to participate in the case, you are more than welcome. You may wish to offer a statement with your view of events at the case's talkpage, or you can add evidence or participate in the workshop. Best, Elonka 06:53, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
