Brogden Middle School is a public school located in Durham, North Carolina. It is part of the Durham Public Schools System. The school runs on a traditional schedule and is open from 7:00 to 4:00 according to the schools website . Like most middle schools, Brogden runs from 6th to 8th Grade. The urban school describes it's mission as:
Brogden Middle School's vision/philosphy is to foster the community towards life long learning, thereby challenging each student to reach his/her full potential. To foster this, Brogden Middle School offers a wide range of academic and extra-curricular activities, all with the goal of developing self-disciplined and innovative thinkers.
The school's mascot/nickname is a dragon, thus the nickname for their gym "The Dragon's Den". The school colors are green and white. Brogden Middle School is located on 1001 Leon Street, Durham, NC 27704. Other middle schools in the district include:
