- Three Indian soldiers and an unknown number of Chinese forces have been killed in a clash in Ladakh in the disputed Kashmir region, amid rising tensions between the two countries. India says that no shots were fired. The Indian army said "senior military officials of the two sides are meeting to defuse the situation". (BBC)
