The Libertad is a silver coin originating in Mexico. It is typically sold in 1 oz, 2 oz, 5 oz, or kilogram size. The coins are 99.99% fine silver and worth 10 pesos face value in the 1 oz size. On one side of the coin is an angel in front of Lover's Peaks. The opposite side shows various positions of the eagle grasping the snake in its talons.
