== List of bilateral relations between member states of the United Nations == | |||
Hello. I had the idea of creating a matrix to present links to all articles about bilateral relations between member states of the United Nations. I think this would be useful to some readers in browsing Misplaced Pages's coverage of this topic, and useful for some editors in navigating across pages and emphasising which articles are lacking. I'm aware there are navboxes that sort of do this, but I can only seem to find examples from the perspective of a single country (''e.g.'': ]). However, since I don't typically edit on this side of Misplaced Pages, I'm afraid this idea has already been implemented and I just don't know it, or perhaps there's some other reason why I shouldn't go ahead. I created a sample (]) to demonstrate what I'm thinking. Please let me know what you think. ] (]) 14:01, 31 January 2021 (UTC) |

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool
Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.
We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:25, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
Principles for Digital Development
Would some members from this WikiProject mind taking a look at Principles for Digital Development? There might be some COI editing involved based upon User talk: Diannaa#Principles for Digital Development, but that's something that can usually be sorted out without too much difficulty. I'm not seeing (at least at the moment) how this meets WP:GNG or even WP:NORG since it appears to be mainly sourced to the organization's website, even though the article might not specifically be about the organization per se. This might be a case where WP:NOBLE comes into play. Anyway, any input on this would be appreciated. I posting here because some of the content in the article seems to indicate there might be some connection to the UN, but I'm not sure about that. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:18, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
Dispute at Talk:Director-General (WHO)
There is an ongoing dispute regarding Director-General (WHO). Please see Talk:Director-General (WHO)#Section about Taiwan and help resolve the problem. (It's pretty straightforward and shouldn't take much time to give your opinion.) —Granger (talk · contribs) 19:17, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Member list for this WikiProject?
I am missing a member list for this WikiProject and am just wondering if it's still active? I noticed that the "Collaborate" button leads to a page on Meta, does this mean this project goes beyond the English Misplaced Pages? @ User:John_Cummings. - If it's still active I am wondering if I can create a Meetup page below this project for an online edit-a-thon for SDGs that we are running in September 2020? Would it be the right place to do so? EMsmile (talk) 08:13, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
Wiki for UN
Dear project members,
I would like to announce the Wiki for UN writing campaign that will take place from 24-31 October with the goal of enriching Misplaced Pages and the other Wikimedia projects with content on topics related to the United Nations (UN) in order to commemorate 75 years from the foundation of the United Nations on 24 October 1945.
The main goals of the campaign are to share knowledge about the UN's organisational structure and field of work in multiple languages, raise awareness about the activities and programmes that the organisation carries out throughout the world and lay grounds for more thorough coverage of topics related to the UN in the future.
You are welcome to take part in the campaign (see list of participants). There are also several article lists with more than 400 important articles compiled to ease the selection of articles.
Best regards.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 21:06, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
