Tennessee Women in Red
Might I draw your attention to a new redlist of notable Tennessee women who lack a wikipedia biography, in the form of Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Women in Red/Missing articles by dictionary/Tennessee Encyclopedia - drawn from the "The Tennessee Encyclopedia of History and Culture". Nashville, Tennessee: Tennessee Historical Society.
Right now, there are more than five times as many biographies of men as there are of women on wikipedia - see the Wikidata Human Gender Indicators page. I hope this project will lend its support to addressing this imbalance by creating biographies for women within your project's scope, and perhaps by adopting the Encyclopedia of Tennessee Encyclopedia of History and Culture redlist. More generally, WikiProject Women in Red has more than 300 redlists covering perhaps 100,000 notable women for whom we have no biography. thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tagishsimon (talk • contribs) 18:55, March 9, 2017 (UTC)
FAR of Battle of Shiloh
I have nominated Battle of Shiloh for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here.
Land Between the Lakes structures located in Kentucky
I had an WP:AFC draft for Lake Barkley Bridge accepted and the reviewer added it to this WikiProject. However, Lake Barkley Bridge is located entirely within Kentucky. Do you all want to err on the side of including Land Between the Lakes related articles in your project as well as Kentucky's no matter where they are, or would you prefer to stick to geographical boundaries?
