Thanks for the comment and your work on here. Not everything on that template applies to every user in my opinion. My main thing is getting in a groove where you feel comfortable in your contributions. Not everything has to be black or white in that regard (but that depends on you ask...) Hope this finds you well and happy editing! Red Director (talk) 02:40, 20 May 2018 (UTC)

Ways to improve FrancisGotHeat

Hi, I'm Cwmhiraeth. Newmila, thanks for creating FrancisGotHeat!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add some categories to the article.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

An extended welcome

Hi Newmila. Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Misplaced Pages: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Misplaced Pages by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Misplaced Pages's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Misplaced Pages's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter.

Some topic areas within Misplaced Pages have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

I hope you find some useful information in all this, and welcome again. --Ronz (talk) 17:04, 10 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi Ronz. Would you like to be more transparent about what you're actually talking about? I'm not clear on what your issue is. Thanks.

It's my attempt to nudge you to paying a bit more attention to Misplaced Pages's policies and provide some proactive direction on types of editing you might want to avoid while you're still learning your way around Misplaced Pages. --Ronz (talk) 22:21, 10 October 2018 (UTC)

Opportunity for collaboration

Dear Newmila,

Just saw your post. I appreciate the support! By the way, do you have any hebrew language skills? For the proposed overhaul I am looking to have hebrew texts in footnotes. Transcribing them will take some time.

Blessings,

Yaakov W. Yaakov Wa. (talk) 02:36, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi Yaakov - I'm not fluent but I can read Hebrew and Yiddish and with the help of a dictionary might be able to assist. I can't evaluate complex texts to validate a citation (for example) unfortunately. newmila (talk) 14:42, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
Dear Newmila,
I really appreciate your edits to Messiah in Judaism. You do a great job of making the language a lot smoother! In regards to collaboration. In the future, I would like to add hebrew text and translation in footnotes. This is a extensive undertaking and I believe you have the ability to contribute. Please contact me by email in order to collaborate more efficiently. My email is .
