Do you have a question? -- Patchy1 10:20, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

Tejasvi Surya

This is disruptive. The article already has an {{advert}} template, so theres no need to repeat the same thing several times, including with "inline" templates that don't belong at the top of the article. And the content that you removed is reliably sourced. Phil Bridger (talk) 10:48, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Where is {advert}? A contesting candidate is eligible for inclusion? If so, then all contastants should be included here. Isn't?
I added the {{advert}} template but I see now that another editor removed it. The thing to do in those circumstances, if you think it should be reinstated, is to start a discussion at Talk:Tejasvi Surya, not to edit-war and certainly not to template for the same thing multiple times. The same applies if you want to question the reliability of a source after your removal has been reverted. If you think the article should be deleted the procedure is described at WP:AFD. Phil Bridger (talk) 11:07, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. Kindly to stop this vandalism. -- 14:38, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Draft:Times of Assam concern

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Times of Assam, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 23:46, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Times of Assam

Hello, Arunudoy. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Times of Assam".

In accordance with our policy that Misplaced Pages is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Misplaced Pages! 大诺史 (talk) 11:00, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

Nomination of Times of Assam for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Times of Assam is suitable for inclusion in Misplaced Pages according to Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Times of Assam (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. -- haminoon (talk) 21:13, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

Without giving any scope to improve the Wiki page, you are moving it straight to "Delete"? I appeal against your decision. Let's other senior moderators to talk. What kind of policy and guideline you are talking about? For you, "Digital News", "online Newspapers' shouldn't have any space on Misplaced Pages?? Then why you don't delete Sri Lanka Guardian, Weekly Blitz, etc, and more? Why you stand arrogant always?
My sincere apology. Actually I was misguided seeing these https://www.fastcompany.com/90471667/how-wikipedia-volunteers-became-the-webs-best-weapon-against-misinformation, https://thegrayzone.com/2020/06/10/wikipedia-formally-censors-the-grayzone-as-regime-change-advocates-monopolize-editing/ and https://consortiumnews.com/2020/06/15/uprising-narrative-control-operations-escalate-as-america-burns/ .

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Times of Assam

You asked for help at the Times of Assam deletion page, but did not ask a question, what did you need help with? CaptainEek 05:56, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

  • As this says "...just a simple mentioning of name of the site (and, its news coverage) in books and journal doesn't qualify it to pass WP:GNG and WP:NWEB. -Hatchens (talk) 08:24, 24 June 2020 (UTC)", now what are the criteria for citation and editing?
You need to actually read WP:GNG, and understand it. We don't just write about anything, only that which has been covered in multiple independent and reliable sources. I'd you'd like to save the article you created, the best way to do so is to find reliable sources that establish it's notability. CaptainEek 16:38, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Regarding AfDs

Problem with your custom signature

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Misplaced Pages's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Misplaced Pages:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Misplaced Pages talk:Signatures. 05:12, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add defamatory content to Misplaced Pages, as you did to Arnab Goswami, especially if it involves living persons. Do not add defamatory content like 'Lap dog' and 'Chutiya Journalist' in the lead as you did here. Also the TRP related issue is properly sourced and written in Arnab_Goswami#TRP manipulation scam and leaked messages. We do not need another poorly written section for that. Your contributed article, তপন বৰুৱা

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, তপন বৰুৱা. First, thank you for your contribution; Misplaced Pages relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Tapan Baruah. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Misplaced Pages. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Tapan Baruah. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Misplaced Pages looks forward to your future contributions. 2A01:4C8:A8:CC79:D4DE:8FF6:C176:399B (talk) 08:12, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Sanjib Baruah moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Sanjib Baruah, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Misplaced Pages). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Misplaced Pages's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Iflaq 08:00, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

@Iflaq: Hi there, I just need to notify you that the article you recently moved to the draft space Draft:Sanjib Baruah is created again on Main Space by the author SEE Sanjib Baruah. Hope got notified, Thank you Onmyway22 talk 08:34, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

An existing draft is found Draft:Sanjib Baruah

An article you recently created Sanjib Baruah, There is an existing draft Draft:Sanjib Baruah of the same article. Which seems your past creation on this same topic moved to this draft by a moderator, Which means you to develop the draft not to create another same one on the main space. Rather than creating the main article on the article space, I recommend you to develop the draft and submit it for a review. Thank you! Happy editing !! Onmyway22 talk 08:31, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Arunodoy Dohotiya, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Union of India. Quick CU

I'd love to know why you thought it appropriate to request a quick CU against DFXYME, the account which nominated your article for deletion -- TNT (talk • she/her) 17:57, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

TNT, kindly do not be mistaken. I was expanding the page Jayanta Narayan Choudhury after creating the page, the user came and nominated it for deletion. The page person had been Director General of India's Special agency National Security Guard and Director General of a State, along with Additional Director General of India's central intelligence agency Intelligence Bureau (India). Nominating a page of that person created a doubt in my mind as the person in the Article is a High Profile Indian Govt Officer.

My apology if this offended anyone. --Arunudoy (talk) 19:15, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
