Please elaborate as to why my addition is considered nonsense. The Chicago Sun-Times considered this issue important enough to be printed on page two. Shouldn't the neutral point of view include information that does more than paint CPS in a strictly positive light? My addition brings up a relevant issue about treatment that different schools receive within CPS. If you look at the basic skills test scores, you'll notice an enormous gulf between CPS's magnet and non-magnet schools. If you spend one day in both a magnet school and a non-magnet school, you'll notice that the reason for this is far greater than student ability. Drabin23 - 2/9/07 |
