What does "Link Legislative Assembly constituencies to Geographical City article" mean exactly?

Can you explain it a bit on Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Indian politics/Open tasks/Constituencies? Add an example diff that you've done, so that people can see if they are interested. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 10:35, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

@MPGuy2824, I mean Karnal city must have a section called politics with a link to Karnal VS and LS constituencies. This will help the reader who are not aware that VS and LS article exists to be able to easily find them. Venkat TL (talk) 10:38, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

@MPGuy2824 yes, it is Haryana. I was looking at CM's constituency, when I found it missing. I just updated a few random pages. Please feel free to start wherever you feel like. I am actually surprised to see that these constituency articles are not even linked to the city/ District articles of the area. This is basic requirement per WP:ORPHAN. What is the point in spending so much efforts to update the constituency article when the reader is not even aware that such a constituency article exists. So I marked it as top priority. The constituencies are usually linked from the latest (and sometimes past) elections, as well as the related Legislative Assembly page. But yeah, they should be mentioned in the city and district articles as well. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 10:52, 6 February 2022 (UTC)

Adding of Manifestos

To maintain WP:NEUTRALITY, either add the manifestos of all main parties contesting the election or just don't add it for only one party, otherwise it looks like an ad campaign of a particular party, for which Misplaced Pages is not a forum. — Hemant Dabral (📞 • ✒) 18:46, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi @Hemant Dabral, What is stopping you from adding the Manifesto you believe is missing ? You have time to remove something but not the time to add what you claim is missing.

Also can you please indicate what source are you using to tweak the names of candidates? For example you changed the name of one Sumant (a guy) to Suman (a feminine name). This is not appropriate. Venkat TL (talk) 18:50, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Venkat TL, It draws suspicion that you're editing the election article on behalf of Aam Aadmi Party. How you're so passionate and assertive about adding only AAP manifesto and not other parties' manifesto? If you can find "credible sources" about AAP manifesto why can't you find credible sources for BJP and Congress manifesto? It draws suspicion that you are messing up with the names of Aam Aadmi Party candidates and changing a man's name into feminine's name. Why? Another such edit will be reported for Vandalism. Who are you to order me what I should do and what I should add. Stop bothering me with your nonsense. If you can find good sources what is stopping you to add it. Did you read the page WP:BOLD? I'm loath to follow the one for India, as there'll be a ton of stuff in there that doesn't interest me, and I would have liked to have commented on this one. Thanks! Ok. The wikiproject Deletion members also patrol the AfDs and they add the projects if they feel it is missing. Seems like no one felt it was applicable. You can improve its section on the ISKCON article. Venkat TL (talk) 11:08, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
