The use of images on Misplaced Pages

Please, take a look at Image:Aria Jasuru Hasegawa.jpg and Image:Aria File Photo.jpg. These images have problems that should be addressed if you plan to use them on Misplaced Pages. Also, take some time to read Misplaced Pages:Image use policy and Misplaced Pages:Fair use criteria. As a general rule, images found on the Internet may not be used on Misplaced Pages's articles, unless in some very special cases. As a second, more specific general rule, we don't use non-free images of living people (see Misplaced Pages:Fair use#Counterexamples item 7).

If you don't understand what an unfree-image is, or don't understand why images you found on the Internet can't be used in Misplaced Pages articles, I sugest you stop any new image upload. If you still plan to upload and use new files, make sure you read all the warnings on the upload page.

Please, engage in discussion instead of pushing the use of problematic material, as you've been doing in Aria Jasuru Hasegawa for instance. Wiki-Stalking and Harassment

Thank you for finally resorting to discussion after editing articles many times without any discussion. Your personal campaign to remove images from Misplaced Pages that you do not even seem to bother checking up upon is not in the spirit of the Misplaced Pages project.

Thank you for your advice on the possibility of being blocked but I doubt if I should take advice from a user who has been blocked previously and has a history of Wiki-stalking and disruptions.

The original images for the Yu Darvish article were without a doubt public domain until you disrupted the page.

The Osama Elsamni pictures were taken by a fan that has made them public domain and they are in wide use.

The pictures for Aria Jasaru Hasegawa are one fair use image and one promotional picture released by his club to the press.

Hi. Yes, I do bother checking the images I work with.

About my block history, I was blocked only twice in 3 years. And both of the times the block was reversed for being considered misplaced. The first time, it was because the admin (just like you) made an wrong accusation of Wiki-stalking. The second block, didn't really have a reason, and the admin left Misplaced Pages after being criticized for the block.

What "original images for the Yu Darvish" do you mean? The images you insist in pushing, doesn't seem to be. Image:DarvishOnField.jpg and Image:Darvish.jpg (if you bother to check), are both tagged as promotional. And by the way, did you bother to check the link I sent you about Misplaced Pages:Fair use#Counterexamples ? If you did, you should know by now that we don't use unfree images of living people. Also, could you provide I diff showing me "disrupting" the page, or apologize for your accusation?

The "Osama Elsamni pictures" are also, according to their tags, not public domain, but "promotional instead. If you have verifiable evidence that these images were released in the public domain by it's copyright holder, put this on the image's description pages. Otherwise, these images should be deleted per item #7 of Misplaced Pages:Fair use#Counterexamples. And please, notice that posting an image on an internet forum or website is not the same as releasing it to the public domain. Likewise, the fact that an image is highly available on the internet also doesn't mean it's in the public domain. The are thousand of copyright violation websites out there.

About the "pictures for Aria Jasaru Hasegawa", that are "one fair use image and one promotional picture", you should know by now that we don't use such pictures per item #7 of Misplaced Pages:Fair use#Counterexamples.

I trust will you desist from your accusations of "Wiki-stalking" and "harassment", just as well as calling my editions vandalism in edit summaries. These are considered personal attacks and are unacceptable. I will no longer tolerate such language towards me.

I also trust will you desist from pushing the use of these images against stated Misplaced Pages policies.
