Maharaja Ranjit Singh regarding edit
I just distinguished the topics which make viewers to read easily maharaja Ranjit Singh just see Akbar babur Shivaji pages Jaspreetsingh6 (talk) 10:31, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you Mr.Jaspreetsingh6 for reaching out. On the article, the administration, religious policies sections fall within Sikh Empire as those were policies when the empire came into existence. And biography is the overall information on the life of Ranjit Singh. Current sections with sub sections are appropriate enough. Comparison with Akbar is not feasible as Mughal Empire was already in existence and Akbar inherited it. With Ranjit Singh, its different as he created an empire.MehmoodS (talk) 10:37, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
Mr Mehmood but I think we should separate Topics of Maharaja Ranjit Singh like his administration Military Expansion and Religious which make for readers to read about Ranjit Singh — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaspreetsingh6 (talk • contribs) 10:50, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
And also there many rulers page for example Babur and Genghis khan Timur who are also founder of Empires But their policy and military expansion are written separately in their pages. Jaspreetsingh6 (talk) 10:53, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Mr.Jaspreetsingh6 After revisiting your changes, it looks fine to me. The changes can stay as is but I would recommend, moving this paragraph from "early life" to "personal life". According to the chronicles of Ranjit Singh's court historians and the Europeans who visited him, Ranjit Singh took to alcohol and opium, habits that intensified in the later decades of his life. However, he neither smoked nor ate beef, and required all officials in his court, regardless of their religion, to adhere to these restrictions as part of their employment contract. Mr Mehmood I have no problem You can change Early Life To Personal Life — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaspreetsingh6 (talk • contribs) 11:10, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
