Êzîdxan or Ezidkhan (also known as Yezidistan or Ezidistan, English: Land of the Yazidis) is what Yazidis call the Mesopotamian region that is now part of modern-day Iraq, Syria and Turkey. The term means a sacred place or homeland. It is also a de facto autonomy in northern Iraq.
