Dr Jonathan Sarfati (born 1964) is an Australian young-earth creationist author with a background in physical chemistry who works for the Christian apologetics ministry Answers in Genesis (AiG). Sarfati is also a New Zealand chess champion.

Sarfati has written numerous publications, including three books Refuting Evolution, Refuting Evolution 2, and Refuting Compromise as well as a number of booklets and has contributed to others. His books are among the best selling books on the AiG website. Whilst the first two books deal with the claims made by evolutionary biologists, his third book, Refuting Compromise, deals primarily with the claims made by the progressive creationist Dr. Hugh Ross. Sarfati also is the author of numerous articles on the Answers in Genesis website, as well as a frequent speaker at churches and other venues on the creation/evolution issue.
