I just watched the first episode for the first time and it's definitely Ryan, not Seth, who says this line. I didn't just swap the names in the article because it seems like there might be some further editing necessary. Someone care to take care of it? | I just watched the first episode for the first time and it's definitely Ryan, not Seth, who says this line. They *both* say "Welcome to the dark side". Seth says it as they enter the fashion show, thinking that the cocktails and superficiality is the dark side; Ryan says it as they enter the party. |

Thanks for that clarification. From all accounts I've heard, next to no one called it "OC" or "The O.C." It was a name that was basically made up for the show. Mike H 23:22, Aug 28, 2004 (UTC)
It's usually "Behind the Orange curtain". :) RickK 23:24, Aug 28, 2004 (UTC)
- Wouldn't have expected anything less. :-) Mike H 23:24, Aug 28, 2004 (UTC)
- Actually, I dispute that- We've been calling it "OC" my entire life. BuddhaInABucket
I added some season 2 plots...as I'm a newbie here, please correct me if I misformatted anything or the like. Also, feel free to add anything I missed.
Quick change -- the part of Caleb's right-hand man Shaun was played by an actor named Richard Herd (he played George's boss Mr. Wilhelm on Seinfeld). It wasn't Karl Malden, but the confusion is understandable given the fact that Richard Herd bears an uncanny resemblance to Karl Malden!
About the link to 'Michael Cassidy' as the actor who plays Zach. Is he really a Canadian politician?
- I rather doubt it, as that Michael Cassidy is 68 years old. --Saforrest 17:40, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)
