In 2019 this article was flagged as the lead that didn't adequately summarise the article's contents. I have since added 2 sentences to the lead to reflect the article's contents. Mixed drinks before the usual word

This article needs more information on mixed drinks before the word 'cocktail' came into common use to describe them. The word didn't invent the idea, or did it? Starple (talk) 10:58, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
