Thinkers influencing the Declaration
PC Chang was member of the Drafting Committee. Chang was a confucian. Yet, Chang repeatedly complained that the other members of the Drafting Committee lacked any knowledge or interest in Confucian theory. Confucius was added to the list of Thinkers influencing the Declaration by user User:D1M2 on February 19, 2022. I kindly suggest that a source should be supplied to back up the claim that Confucius' legacy had any substantial impact on the eventual Declaration. Kjalving (talk) 22:14, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- I've added a reference to an article about the Confucian influences on the Declaration. Although personally I find the influences rather marginal, a Misplaced Pages article is not the platform where such a debate should take place. Kjalving (talk) 06:57, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
References to Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI)
The Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) is a Scientology group using the discussion of human rights to subtly promote their church's agenda. I would ask what has been done by this group to qualify them as contributors to this topic which has not been achieved by far more prevalent groups with less of an agenda behind them. I would propose removing those references in favour of groups like Amnesty International for example. 90.216.150.214 (talk) 15:32, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
