Template:Infobox College GB Havering Sixth Form College is a sixth form college in Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch in the London Borough of Havering. It opened in September 1991, and educates full-time students from the ages of 16 to 19. The college offers a wide range of subjects, in A-level, BTEC and diploma formats, amongst others. The current principal is Paul Wakeling.
College policies
Students do not have to wear a uniform, but consequently, all students and staff are required to wear ID cards on a lanyard at all times as a security measure. In the past few months, turnstiles have been installed at all of the college entrances, which are now in operation and are used for students to enter the premises during key times such as at the beginning and end of the day. This step up in security is a result of a number of intruders entering the college in previous years.
The issue of security became even more significant after a fight involving college students at Upminster Bridge Underground station. The fight, involving up to one hundred youths received lots of press coverage, especially in the local newspaper, Romford Recorder. It led to police guarding the front entrance to the college for the next few weeks carrying out random searches on male students and the permanent closure of the back entrance, close to Upminster Bridge station.

The College aims to be an outstanding provider of full-time education for 16-19 year olds, embracing diversity and creating excellent opportunities for all. Staff and students will work hard to maximise their potential and promote individual achievement at the highest level.
Buildings and facilities
The college is divided into nine main buildings, or blocks:
- Library Wing (law, history, IT facilities, computing)
- Science Wing (sciences, modern foreign languages)
- Theatre Wing (Performing Arts)
- Dury Falls Wing (business studies,economics)
- Newcourt (sociology, psychology, mathematics)
- Gatehouse (English, media studies, general studies)
- Minster Court (art, computing, graphics, photography)
- Horsa Building (English, classical civilizations, music)
- International Building (geology, religious studies, philosophy)
Housed in the Library Wing are the main college facilities, including the IT Centre, Library and Careers Zone (a facility for upper sixth students looking for opportunities when they finish college). Other college facilities include the Learning Zone, for those needing study support; a gymnasium and sports hall; a music suite and recording studio and a studio theatre. The college site is also home to the Havering School of Music and the Havering Europa Languages Centre. The college also offers adult education classes in the evenings.

In addition to these, students are required to take at least one enrichment course in their first year. Whilst not a qualification in itself, this fills the student’s timetable and gives them the opportunity to explore their interests. In addition, in the Upper Sixth students are required to take General Studies, a course some believe is based on subjective knowledge and lectures given throughout the year.
