Following an RfC, TFAs will be automatically semi-protected the day before it is on the main page and through the day after.
A discussion at WP:VPP about revision deletion and oversight for dead names found that ysops can choose to use revdel if, in their view, it's the right tool for this situation, and they need not default to oversight. But oversight could well be right where there's a particularly high risk to the person. Use your judgment.

As part of the final decision, editors participating in XfD have been reminded to be careful about forming local consensus which may or may not reflect the broader community consensus. That I waited 8 years before even touching any of that sock farm's articles (you did notice that before you posted, right?), and then when I did start editing them I removed all the poorly-sourced material that the sock farm had added, and somehow that makes me a banned user? And that I waited 17 years to do the same to Celtic reconstructionism, which I only became aware of during the move discussion (which I chose not to respond to), and which wasn't even on my radar for COI until it got brought up by other editors? Perhaps you should look closer at my edits to those articles. Sure, I was aware of the sock farm; it's part of my process to read the talk pages.
