The Democrats legislators missed their families they were not allowed to see their children or sick babies that were in an incubator. They would be arrested without a warrant for seeing their family in Texas. The court with all do speed ruled the Attorney General letter was not a warrant. Senator John Whitmire returned. The rest of the Democrats fallowed complaining they maxed out their credit cards; the legislators are still paying the principal and interest on their credit cards. Hello. I think adding a sidebar to Republic of Texas was a very good thing. Howver, I removed the map of Texas as U.S. state, since the borders of the present day had nothing to do with the borders of the Republic, which as you know were larger. The other map in the article (which I created) are the historical boundaries (showing the difference between what was claimed by the RoT and was disputed by Mexico during that time). -- Decumanus 07:09, 2005 Mar 31 (UTC)
