Page move result

RZuo, you reverted edits that were follow-ups to a page move and unsynchronized the person's name to the page title. Since you did not explain it in your edit summary, why did you do that? Those should be reverted back to synchronize with the article title, so please do so. P.I. Ellsworth  ed.  17:32, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

1. those two edits contradict the references.
2. those edits contradict the person's true name.

Duplicate of same photo at D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson‎

Hi RZuo, thanks for your work to improve Misplaced Pages.

However, the photo that you have inserted at the top of the D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson‎ article is already in the article, a bit further down, so we cannot have it in the article twice. I therefore reverted to the previous image.

Further, the previous image shows Thompson‎ as a professor (aged around 60), visibly at work and holding a skeleton relating to his work, whereas the one you've put at the top shows him as a very young man, perhaps a student. It seems to me that it makes good sense to have both images in the article - starting out, and having reached the top of his profession; and the second of these seems to make good sense at the head of the article, but we can rearrange things if you have convincing reasons to the contrary. IMHO that's a non-neutral RfC question

The question should not argue for or against a specific outcome, or provide your arguments to do as you propose.

So I'd encourage you to rephrase the question so that it doesn't show your position as OP.

An example could be:

This RfC proposes a change to Module:Find sources/templates/Find general sources and {{Find sources}}. AP has been added as a result of #RfC_on_Module:Find_sources_-_replace_New_York_Times_with_Associated_Press, but there was no consensus to remove the New York Times.

Should we add news outlets listed below to the Find sources template? Or should we introduce the rule that individual news outlets are not to be listed in this template? Should any changes to other links be made? Szmenderowiecki (talk) 23:14, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
