"Shvets" is a tailor, not a shoemaker. The word for shoemaker is "chobotar". --Vs1969 (talk) 17:01, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

To me, a tailor is kravets’, a shoemaker shvets’. Perhaps there's a regional difference? Michael Z. 2008-12-10 17:21 z
