== Watchlist notices ==
If I'm reading ] correctly, the Signpost hasn't had a watchlist notice since May. Is this a problem with the Signpost publishing script, or something else? Could it be fixed? This is the main way I was getting reminded to read the Signpost.
Is the Signpost still publishing bi-weekly? Was that a factor in watchlist notices getting declined? Personally I liked it when the Signpost published monthly instead of bi-weekly, so just throwing that out there. –] (]) 16:09, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
:I just put ] on my watchlist. The traffic on this talk page is low enough that nearly every time this page pops up on my watchlist, it's for a new issue. I think you can also get a notice delivered to your talk page. – ] (]) 16:22, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

:We got pushback from the community on using the watchlist notices when we made publication more frequent than monthly: see ]. I would not say it was consistent or overwhelming, but if somebody wanted to get it started again, it would probably need some kind of approval. New former editor-in-chief?
I'm a bit confused by this edit: is there a new former editor-in-chief who doesn't appear in Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/About § Editors in chief? isaacl (talk) 02:32, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- That editor (called EricPupper at the time) declared themselves to be EiC in a moment of turnover at this project. I was already out as part of the team so I can't really speak to which issues EricPupper published. As I was a prior regime guy, I'll say no more. Chris Troutman (talk) 02:54, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- My mistake; I forgot (or didn't know about?) the account rename. isaacl (talk) 02:57, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
Color of section headings
Is it just me, or are the black section headings above the white article titles incredibly hard to see? They are placed on top of predominantly dark images, doesn't just make them hard to read, some of them are nearly invisible. Couldn't they just be made a similar color to the article titles themselves? Toadspike (talk) 14:34, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Toadspike Completely agreed! I raised it here as well. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 13:04, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
Links between Comix columns
As far as I can tell, six "Comix" columns were published:
- Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/2022-08-31/Humour
- Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/2022-09-30/CommonsComix
- Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/2022-11-28/CommonsComix
- Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/2023-01-01/CommonsComix
- Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/2023-12-04/Comix
- Misplaced Pages:Misplaced Pages Signpost/2023-12-24/Comix
Two questions:
- First two (2022-08-31 and 2022-09-30) link to each other because the name of the column was changed. Shouldn't similar links be added between 2023-01-01 and 2023-12-04?
- 2023-12-24 links to 2023-12-04 at the bottom as
← Previous "Comix"
. But 2023-12-04 doesn't link back asNext "Comix" →
. This just seems like a bug.

Iranian state interference with WP content?
Here's an interesting article about alleged Iranian state interference with Misplaced Pages content that might be of interest to Signpost contributors: https://www.theaustralian.com.au/world/the-times/iranian-cyber-army-blamed-as-wikipedia-deletes-atrocities/news-story/3947931532816bc4f1a9c5eca7df5f71 — The Anome (talk) 12:06, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
