Tashlyk (Moldovan: Taşlîc) is the second largest town in the Administrative Region of Grigoriopol in the Moldovan region of Transnistria (internationally recognised as part of the Republic of Moldova). Its name is derived from the Turkic word taşlık, meaning "stony place". As revealed in the 2004 Census in Transnistria, almost half of the town's inhabitants are of Armenian descent.
