Finale/Final song needs to be updated

The final song aka finale of the show should be #34 "Bitch I'm Madonna" (incudes elements of "Give Me All Your Luvin'", "Celebration", and "Music"). There is no performance of "Celebration" and "Music" as songs per se after "Bitch I'm Madonna" as they are part of the mix. "Give Me All Your Luvin'" was forgotten in the setlist. 71.127.58.63 (talk) 20:53, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Not done Please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. HorrorLover555 (talk) 20:56, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
I could send 32 links for the 32 show finales she already performed featuring exactly what I just wrote. Would that be reliable sources? 71.127.58.63 (talk) 21:01, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

CHANGE

  • During the first concert in New York City on December 13, 2023, Madonna sang "I Love New York"

TO

Not done Please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. On the other half, we need to stick to the source provided for that note until then. HorrorLover555 (talk) 09:29, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
This source lists "I Love New York / Burning Up" in the set list, instead of just "I Love New York". But it still only refers to the first New York concert, on December 13.

Missing song + links missing + Final Demo 2

Act I is missing the song Celebration which plays after the Lucky Star intro and before the video montage starting with Material Girl.

There are links missing to the actual song pages:

  • Act I - Vogue and Bitch I'm Madonna
  • Act II - Fever, Erotica, and Justify my love are all missing links
  • Act II - see The Confessions Tour page, this is not "with elements of Final Demo 2" but "with elements of You Thrill Me". It's been used during the Confessions Tour. See page for reference.

Not done Links are not missing as it would be overlinking per MOS:OVERLINK. Regarding "Final Demo 2", please note WP:STICKTOTHESOURCE. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:09, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

boxscore

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Cannolis (talk) 01:52, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

Setlist

I'm sorry I don't want to be disrespectful in any way but I find the setlist incorrect and the samples/extracts/excepts are wrong in so many parts. I suggest some changes, I hope you can approve them:

8 . "Live to Tell" (with elements of "In This Life")

On "Like a prayer" there's no "Let's Go Crazy" elements, it can be found in the "Blond Ambition" section and I'd delete "Erotica" and "Justify My Love" in it.

12. "Erotica" (with elements of "Justify My Love (12" Orbit Remix), "Final Demo 2" and "Papa Don't Preach")

13. "Justify My Love"/"Fever" (include elements of Gangsta")

14. "Hung Up" (includes elements of "Hung Up on Tokischa")

On the Ballroom section I'd add Deeper and Deeper but I don't remember the exact name of the remix.

18. "Human Nature"/"Crazy for You"

24. "La Isla Bonita"/"Don't Cry for Me Argentina"

25. "I Don't Search I Find" (Honey Dijon remix,intermission)

In "Like a Virgin" I'd add "Into The Groove" since it contains "You wanna dance?"

Sorry if I made mistakes with numbers or some letters I'm not an English speaker. Thank you. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 19:22, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

Not done Set list is sourced well from published, reliable sources like BBC and Billboard. I don't really see any point in changing them, as we need to stick to the sources provided per policy. HorrorLover555 (talk) 19:36, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
So why it say that Hung Up has a Gangsta sample which it doesn't but it can be found in Justify My Love? Thant's my point. Like I said I didn't want to be disrespectful but I think some changes are necessary. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 20:07, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
Please provide reliable sources that support your changes. HorrorLover555 (talk) 15:37, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
https://www.panorama.it/lifestyle/musica/madonna-londra-scaletta-celebration-tour here is saying what I've been saying about "Gangsta" sampled on Justify My Love. It's in italian but it's a reliable source I suppose.
https://www.musicradar.com/news/madonna-prince-like-a-prayer here it is "Let's Go Crazy" in Living For Love ergo in the Blond Ambition section not in Like a Prayer.
Also, you can hear them without a reliable sources that confirms it, but I understand the policy. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 15:48, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
In return, I will also share the sources that are already given for my reasoning of why WP:STICKTOTHESOURCE comes to mind.
- Savage, Mark (October 15, 2023). "Madonna's Celebration Tour reviewed: The Queen of pop brings out her crown jewels". BBC. Retrieved October 15, 2023.
- Lynch, Joe (October 14, 2023). "The 17 Best Moments From Madonna's Celebration Tour Opening Night in London". Billboard. Retrieved October 15, 2023.
- Vito, Jo (October 14, 2023). "Madonna kicks off 'The Celebration Tour' in London: Setlist + Photos". Consequence. Archived from the original on October 15, 2023. Retrieved November 2, 2023.
These are the sources provided even in the section, and it does clearly state above in text that it is used from the London, England show, and word-for-word, does not represent all concerts for the duration of the tour. These would be the reasons why I think it shouldn't change. Besides, the tour is almost over anyway. HorrorLover555 (talk) 19:25, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
I'm sorry but these articles are incorrect. Even if you watch the first show you'll see I'm right! I thought someone would have changed it but no one did so I wrote it. I don't knpw what else I could do to change the setlist. I agree with the numbers, but some parts are incorrect. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 19:47, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
And also, the articles I did share are from the first London show. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 19:49, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
At this point, I think it might be helpful to get some third opinions to see if a compromise can be worked out. HorrorLover555 (talk) 22:35, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
Response to third opinion request:
The setlist needs to reflect what has been reported by reliable sources. Personal observations are considered original research and that cannot be used to justify changes. I hope this helps. Thanks Nemov (talk) 03:24, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
I agree. But some reliable sources say I'm right. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 18:23, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
IP, the point of this discussion is to come to a compromise that all editors can be happy with, it's not about who is right and who is wrong. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:11, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
