Alexx Woods is a fictional character in the show CSI: Miami, portrayed by American actress Khandi Alexander.
Background
Alexx is a medical examiner who is oringally from Queens, New York. She is a married with two children and is always upbeat and has a good bedside manor despite being a coronor.
Alexx is very maternal by nature and treats her co-workers as though they were her children.
