A type of bondage suit, also commonly called a gimp suit or gimpsuit, is a form-fitting garment designed to cover the body completely (usually including the hands and feet) for Role-playing purposes. The acronym GIMP stands for a "guy in mask permanently"; although, the acronym is commonly treated with gender neutrality in its' usage. It can have an attached hood; nevertheless, if it does not, then it is often worn with a bondage hood, or a "gimp mask." The suit may be made from any material—leather, PVC, rubber, spandex, and darlexx are the most usual.
Catsuits may be worn in conjunction with corsets, bondage harnesses or other restraints as part of a bondage suit.
Use
A bondage suit is sometimes used in BDSM foreplay to objectify the wearer, or fetishize as a form of Anima and Animus Fetishism. The role-playing gimp chooses the consensual role of a masturbatory sexual toy, doll, dummy, or automata. This is rather than a Human sexual partner with characteristics of Human Desire, and Egotism, throughout the duration of the foreplay for mutually agreed upon amusement.
