Hazara is located in NWFP, Pakistan. The population of Hazara Division is estimated to be over 4.5 million in 2005. The total area of Hazara Division is 18013 km², of which District Haripur has an area of 1763 km² and 0.7 million population; District Abbottabad has an area of 1802 km² and 1 million population; District Mansehra has an area of 5957 km² and 1.4 million population; District Batagram has an area of 910 km² and 0.5 million population and District Kohistan has an area of 7581 km² and 0.6 million population. University of Hazara is provides higher education to people of the region.
