AFDs and PRODs
Hello, Thewikizoomer,
Your one or two word deletion rationales in AFDs and PRODs are insufficient. In at least one instance, a PROD tag was removed by an admin who found your explanations (like "notability issues" or "significance") insufficient to warrant deletion of an article. Nomination statements should be policy based, explaining why an article should be deleted and demonstrate that a BEFORE has been done by the nominator that indicates they have reviewed existing sources and and looked to see if any additional souces exist that might help establish notability. None of your nominations or deletion rationales do this.
As an example of a decent AFD nomination, please look at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of NCAA Division III independents football records to see what is expected of you if you want to continue to nominate articles for deletion. Do your homework and show to participating editors that you have done a sufficient investigation into the article. A nomination statement should never be your impression of an article, that is just not enough.
You should also consider archiving your talk page discussions instead of just clearing your page after every comment. Archiving talk page messages is what experienced editors do. Please do not delete this message until I've seen your response to it. Thank you. Liz 23:05, 5 August 2024 (UTC)
