"Tailor Swif" is a song by American rapper ASAP Rocky, released on August 30, 2024 as the sixth single from his upcoming fourth studio album Don't Be Dumb. Its music video was released the same day on YouTube.
Background and release
The song first leaked after Rocky's live performance at Rolling Loud Portugal in July 2022, under the title "Wetty". The track and its accompanying music video also leaked online later. In July 2023, the rapper performed again the song at the Rolling Loud Miami, naming it "Wetty (Taylor Swift)". The allusive reference to singer Taylor Swift generated a number of discussion on social networks. On August 29, 2024, the rapper announced the song as the sixth single from his fourth studio album changing the name in "Tailor Swif".
Music video
The music video for "Tailor Swif" was released on Rocky's YouTube channel on August 30, 2024. It was directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggi. The music video was shot in Kyiv, Ukraine in December of 2021.
