Ali Karaki (Arabic: علي كركي) is the commander of the Southern Front of the organization Hezbollah.

Career

After the elimination of Ibrahim Akil, he was appointed to serve as one of his two successors in leading the campaign against Israel on the northern front of the Israel Hamas war. He is considered the number 3 commander in Hezbollah after Akil's assassination.

Karaki was also a member of the Jihad Council, which is Hezbollah's supreme command. In February 2024, Israel attempted to assassinate him in a car bombing in the city of Nabatieh, but he was not in the target vehicle.
