On 13 October 2024, Hezbollah conducted a drone attack on what it said was a training camp for the Israel Defense Forces' Golani Brigade in Binyamina, Israel. The attack wounded at least 67, including four critically.

Strike

On October 13, 2024, a drone launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon entered Israeli airspace and crashed near the town of Binyamina, located in the Haifa District of Israel. The incident resulted in injuries to at least 67 people, with four individuals reported in critical condition. Medical teams, including a helicopter, were dispatched to the scene to evacuate and provide emergency care to the wounded.

During the attack, three drones were launched from Lebanon; two of the drones were intercepted, while one managed to penetrate deep into Israeli territory, crashing in the Binyamina area. The drone incursion occurred without the activation of alarm systems that would normally signal such an attack. In a separate statement, Hezbollah said it targeted the Tsnobar logistics base in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the drone strike and said it was in response to the Israeli airstrike on Bachoura on 10 October that killed 22 Lebanese people and injured another 117.

Casualties

Three Israelis were killed and at least 67 were wounded as a result of the attack. Magen David Adom (the Israeli medical service, or MDA) reported that four people were critically injured, five seriously, and 14 moderately. Three of the injured were airlifted to Sheba Medical Center, while two were taken to Rambam Health Care Campus. An additional 28 victims were transported to various hospitals by ambulance.
