Lou Schuler is an award-winning fitness journalist and author or coauthor of several books men's health, including The New Rules of Lifting, The Book Of Muscle, The Testosterone Advantage Plan, and The Home Workout Bible.
According to his personal blog he is a former fitness editor of Men's Fitness magazine and former fitness director of Men’s Health, and is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Schuler was one of the winners of National Magazine Award in 2004 in Personal Service (Men’s Health) category for his artcile Death by Exercise (published on the August 2003 issue).
