The "3-sjøersløpet" (The 3 Lakes Race) is a half marathon held every November in Stavanger, Norway. The race was started in 2006. The first Saturday in November was chosen to offer a race at the end of the running season. Due to the mild climate on the southwest coast in Norway the temperature is perfect for running at this time of the year; typically 6–8ºC. Experience a gentle terrain of approximately 77% gravel paths, ensuring a comfortable run, while the remaining stretch offers the swift asphalt experience, totaling around 150 meters of elevation. For many runners this is the end of the season and is therefore a good target for training throughout the year.
The race was canceled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
