Berengaria (1 May 1276 – before 27 June 1278) was the tenth child and sixth daughter of Edward I of England and his first wife, Eleanor of Castile.

Biography

Birth and Background

Berengaria or Berenice was born prematurely on 1 May 1726 at Kennington during the reign of her father, King Edward I (r. 1272–1307). Before her birth, the couple had nine other children, 3 of whom reached adulthood. Before 27 June 1278, Berengaria had died around the age of two. She was buried at the Westminster Abbey alongside her father and mother.
