Complete Crash, Complete Lock-Out

Hi, I don't know who to go to about this. I had an account on Misplaced Pages for about six years, it is User:KTcup82. About a month ago, we had a total computer crash and had to buy a new machine. None of the passwords saved on the old machine were in the cloud and the original email address for password recovery for Misplaced Pages was an old work email that I don't work at anymore. I don't know how to get back into my account and don't want to lose my edit history if I make another one. You can try emailing ca@wikimedia.org. CA stands for "compromised account". They may have a procedure for gaining access to it again, or they may not. I'm not sure.

Looks like your account only has 225 edits. That is a low edit count. To be honest, starting a new account probably wouldn't be a problem. You would get back to 225 edits very quickly. –Novem Linguae (talk) 14:10, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

ALL of this user's edits are AI-generated, including their replies to other users and administrators. They are also weaving the narrative that the user is two human beings working in collaboration rather than one person using an AI chatbot. The user has already received multiple warnings to stop uploading AI-generated content to Misplaced Pages; I recommend a permanent ban as they have refused to stop. Sistani nationality and original name

Significant 100+ edits wiped out from WP:AN

Surprised to show up this morning to find two of my edits deleted from WP:AN, and then found that over 100 edits for multiple editors (including admins) were deleted spanning a block of 16 hours and multiple sections.
