Alpha Beta Chi (ABX) is a fraternity founded in Puerto Rico in 1941 at the University of Puerto Rico now University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.
History
Its founder war Ricardo Alegria who had been a member of Nu Sigma Beta. It was originally named ABC, but changed to Alpha Beta Chi. Instead of using a shield for its symbol they adopted a Taino emblem. It was the first collegiate in Puerto Rico to attempt to establich a chapter in Hightschool in at Central High School.
By July 1964, it had joined the Concilio Interfraternitario de Puerto Rico.
