Lauren Patel (born May 16, 2001) is a British actress.

Biography

Patel was born in and grew up in Bolton, Greater Manchester, and attended Smithills School and The Sixth Form Bolton. She was cast as Pritti Pasha in the 2021 Amazon Prime Video film Everyone's Talking About Jamie, having auditioned when she was 17 after seeing an advertisement requesting an actress of her age and Indian origin; in the same month as being cast, all her applications to London theatre schools were rejected.

In September 2021, Patel told Revamp Magazine that she was doing a voice-acting job for Aardman Animations. This role was as young police officer Mukherjee in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (2024), with fellow Boltonian Peter Kay voicing Chief Inspector Mackintosh.
