Zee Cohen-Sanchez is an American political strategist and entrepreneur, known as the founder and executive director of Sole Strategies, a woman owned and operated political consulting firm. Cohen-Sanchez specializes in grassroots campaigning, advocacy for marginalized communities, and supporting underrepresented candidates in local and state elections.

Early life and education

Sanchez graduated from Wagner College with a BA in Anthology and Sociology. Later she dropped out of Graduate School to work full-time in politics. She joined high-profile campaigns such as those of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Career

In 2009 Cohen-Sanchez moved to New York City and worked on several races before moving to Oregon in 2018. In 2020, Cohen-Sanchez founded Sole Strategies. The organization emphasizes the importance of deep canvassing techniques to flip voters from red to blue, rather than traditional top-down consulting approaches. The firm has worked on over 500 campaigns since 2020.

Political philosophy

Cohen-Sanchez advocates that diverse perspectives enhance policy-making, promote inclusivity, and lead to more stable governments.
