| Greetings Oncamera! The thing about the sourced material you restored in your recent edits : yes it's sourced, but not up to ] standards, especially for contentious material. WP flatly forbids inadequately-sourced contentious material in BLP's. That's not meant to exclude the position of a Native tribe protecting their rights and identity, or of anyone else; it's just that there's a higher threshold for sourcing, NPOV and NOR in BLP's than elsewhere on Misplaced Pages. Which for example the materiàl at ] about Cher (first diff above) falls far, far short of. Does that make sense? There's strong community-wide consensus on this, cf. some of the other recent comments at BLP/N ]. The fact was ... that Bdóte, an area of sacred significance to the Dakota people, centered on the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers, was also the site of their forced exile from Minnesota?
