Chalermkwan Satri School was founded on November 8, 1923, by Phraya Sisuriyaratwaranuwat (Suk Disyabut) and Phra Chamnankankaonson (Choei Sukumalanan) to provide separate education for female students. The school initially operated on the premises of the Tiger Scout Club, located opposite Wat Yai. In 1925, it moved to its current location, and in 1933, a teacher training department was established. Over the years, the school has undergone significant development. In 1972, it received funding to construct several school buildings, including teachers' residences and a cafeteria. In 1978, a 4-story concrete building for classrooms and additional teachers' residences was completed. In 2000, the school received a royal grant from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to establish the Chalermprakiat Art and Culture Center.
