Region of focused Defence production

The Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) is a flagship project launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, India, under the guidance of the Defence Ministry of India. Announced in 2018, the initiative aims to foster indigenous defense manufacturing, reduce reliance on imports, and promote self-reliance in the defense sector under the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
