Jawaid Iqbal is an Indian academic who has served as the Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University since 2024. He was previously a professor of West Asian studies at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where he also served as Dean of the Faculty of International Studies, Chair of the Department of West Asian and North African Studies, and acting Vice Chancellor.

His MPhil and PhD in international studies are from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
