Historical anthropologist (1947—)David Faure (1947—) is a renowned historical anthropologist and expert on the history of Southern China.
Biograpgy
He graduated from St Paul's College and the Department of History of the University of Hong Kong, and later obtained a PhD in Sociology from Princeton University. He is currently a Professor in the Department of History at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
